Flag Hoisting

August is one of the months of the year that fills us with zeal as we start to prepare for the celebration of Independence Day on August 15. The day that brought light and hope to the country and laid the foundation of the nation as one of the largest democracies in the world.

Hoisting the tricolor is the first and foremost activity that is done in our institution which kicks off the rest of celebrations. In fact celebration for the day is incomplete without this proud moment. Followed by flag hoisting, it is very common to sing the national anthem together which triggers the spirit among kids.

CONVOCATION DAY FOR TOPPERS

March Past

we arrange a march past, which is a parade or a procession, within the school campus or in the neighborhood. This activity can be taken as an opportunity to remind everyone of our freedom fighters and the importance of this day for us, as Indian citizens.

 Explaining Independence Concepts through Nature

Teachers and school authorities take a brilliant step as part of the Independence Day activities- take kids for a tree plantation drive. This is a great way to explain the concepts of the special day through nature. As we enjoy the hard-earned independence, it is really important to preserve our environment.

The life of trees can be set as an example to convey the ideas of unity and diversity. The growth of trees is remarkable in clusters which show the significance of unity. Similarly, the concept of diversity can also be seen when different kinds of trees support each other for survival.

ANNUAL DAY

The Annual Day event of a school is a special day of the year when everyone associated with it gathers under the same roof to celebrate that year’s achievements.

And before the celebration of the Annual Day event begins, a student, principal, or host is allotted to give a welcome speech. In this welcome speech given on the Annual Day, the speaker has to welcome everyone present in the auditorium or hall, including the honourable chief guest(s), and provide a short introduction to the several events that will take place on that day.
